Lomilomi Steam & Ocean

This extended, half-day experience unfolds as a guided progression of reflection, traditional lomilomi, steam warmth, and ocean release. Each phase builds intentionally upon the next, creating space for physical relaxation, emotional clearing, and integration.

Hoʻoponopono Reflection

We begin with education and reflection on hoʻoponopono as it is practiced, restoring relationship and clearing what remains unresolved.

This conversation sets the tone for the work that follows and invites a deeper awareness into the bodywork experience.

Traditional Lomilomi

The bodywork is rooted in traditional Hawaiian lomilomi as I was taught in the lineage of Aunty Margaret and Papa K. Long, continuous strokes that move with breath and intention.

This extended session unfolds slowly and intuitively, allowing space for physical release and deeper integration.

Steam Integration

Following the bodywork, a gentle steam session is offered using a table tent that allows warmth to surround the body while you remain comfortably resting.

The heat supports circulation, softens remaining tension, and deepens the sense of release before we make our way to the ocean.

Ocean Release

A brief pule is offered at the water’s edge. You are invited into a symbolic act of cleansing, either by stepping into the ocean with intention or receiving pīkai at the shoreline, allowing the water to carry what is ready to be released.

This portion is spacious and unhurried, offering time for quiet integration and restoration.

Before booking, please review the following:

• 48-hour advance booking required
• Weather dependent and may be rescheduled if ocean conditions are unsafe
• Participation in the ocean portion is always optional
• Additional waiver required

• Please bring a bathing suit and towel
• Comfortable footwear recommended for shoreline access
• This experience concludes at the ocean location
• Best suited for those comfortable walking short distances and entering the ocean independently

Private Residence Option

This experience may also be offered at private residences or vacation rentals along the Kona Coast.

For in-residence sessions, the following must be available:

• A private space large enough for massage table and steam tent setup
• Electrical power for the steam tent
• Ocean access within walking distance for the closing ocean portion
